Our green oak beams are made from a fresh cut (fresh sawn) oak that has been clean cut within the last 3-6 months. Our beams are of a high moisture content and therefore prone to shrinkage and movement during the drying process.
Oak beams are most often used for decorative purposes, home structures and roof structures along with the construction of oak framed buildings and bridges. However the use of these beams is not limited and can also be used for an array of external and landscaping projects.
