The Ulti-Mate® woodscrew is a multi-purpose product that can be used in softwood, hardwood, man-made timbers such as MDF and sheet metal. The design includes the following features to give superior performance:
A heavy-duty design gives outstanding strength through the body of the screw and under the head.
A sharp point, with prominent thread, rolled to the tip, gives instant bite and rapid insertion.
A slotted-shank relieves pressure in the timber during insertion and helps to prevent the timber from splitting.
A double-angle countersunk head with ribs ensures a neat, flush finish. Note that screws of length 40mm and under do not include under-head ribs such that they can sit flush into metal hinges.
A premium, German engineered, waxed lubricant coating enables smooth, low-torque insertion.
A corrosion-resistant, zinc-plated finish that is available in both Zinc & Yellow (gold coloured) and Bright Zinc (silver coloured) finishes.
