Western Red Cedar is one of the most dimensionally stable timbers. It will have minimal movement despite weather conditions and humidity.
Cedar varies greatly in colour from pale-ish cream to a deep dark brown, which along with its aromatic aroma, is appealing as a feature.
Cedar is very light in weight, but does have high insulating properties; Perfect for cladding, summer houses, etc.
